He is a Mechanical Industrial Engineer and holds a Masters Degree in Numerical Methods for Calculation and Design in Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). He has trained and specialised in welding assembly techniques, obtaining the qualification of European Welding Technologist from the European Welding Federation, and has completed the Operations Management Programme at the Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA).

As a professional in the packaging sector, he has developed his career for more than 25 years as Industrial Director and Product Manager (R&D&I) at PAYPER SA, a leading company in Spain in the machinery sector for packaging in industrial bags, and one of the leading companies in the sector worldwide. It has completed more than 3,000 bagging and palletising projects, both nationally and internationally, leading a team of professionals who have contributed with their dedication and commitment to achieving technological milestones, which seemed unattainable at the time. He has always ensured and sought the involvement of technicians and professionals in the projects he has led, promoting teamwork and individual responsibility, with leadership based on professional respect for people.

Prior to this, he worked for 9 years as a professional in the automotive sector at SERRA SOLDADURA SA, a leading company in its sector in the design and manufacturing of machines and automatic assembly lines using welding processes. Initially, he developed his role as a designer and project manager, and later took on the position and responsibility of Operations Director of the 30M Business Unit of SERRA SOLDADURA SA, an area dedicated to the implementation of projects for customers in the automotive auxiliary industry. He has carried out more than 50 projects in this field of technology, including tooling and welding lines for components used in the vehicles of the main European car manufacturers, such as: side panels and components, engine mounts, bumpers, suspension arms, steering columns, pedals and car seats, among others.
